Cross Country

There I was running through the crowd like if  I was a pop star people cheering but instead it was the opposite I  running with sweat I was tired thumping puddle by puddle. My throat was so dry like if it was a dry land inside of me.  My feet were numb like if  I was standing on ice land for an hour.As I slipped my way down the steps I could already hear my whanau group cheering for me cause I'm amazing. As I tried  my best and pushing myself unfortunately I came second but it was alright because everyone is a winner. Then my awesome and caring tall teacher announced the winning whanau house as she clearly said Mother Teresa  I jumped up like a pop jack and cheered everyone congratulate us. At the end I  learnt  to always try my best and to put God first and believe in Jesus Christ....
